IA Permit Testing

Dubuque Driving Academy has become a IA DOT Proctor for the IA DOT Permit test. We provide on site testing after DBQ DOT hours to those wanting to take the exam in person. To take the exam; you must be at least 14 years of age and have some form of ID with you. Once you pass the exam; it will be uploaded to the IA DOT and you can make your appointment to receive your IA Permit.

How to Sign up

Cost for Testing is $15.00 per test. Testing takes place in person at our Classroom Located at 2327 Central Ave. Please see below for dates and times of availably.

What to bring

Please bring a form of ID to identify yourself. If you are under the age of 18; a school ID is sufficient.
